SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Pitching Machine

The Catapult Soft Toss Pitching Machine is a versatile training tool that works on both the offensive and defensive aspects of your game. You can use regulation baseballs for soft toss or to practice footwork and glove-hand ball transfer. Alternatively, you can use 9-inch plastic balls for pop fly practice. The unit adjusts for height and distance, and serves balls every 8 seconds.

To use the machine, follow these simple steps:

1. Add Baseballs to the Machine: Before starting the machine, add up to 8 balls to the Spiral Ball Funnel.

2. Adjust Ball Flight Angle: Turn the Catapult off before adjusting the ball flight angle. Loosen the trajectory lever knob at the front of the machine, then adjust the leg up or down to change the ball flight angle. Tighten the trajectory lever knob and stabilize the Catapult by adjusting the rear stability bar. Unscrew the knobs on both sides of the bar and adjust the height so that the bar rests on the ground, then secure it in place by tightening each knob.

3. Adjust Ball Throwing Distance: Use the adjustable distance knob to tighten it to increase the ball throwing distance or loosen it slowly to decrease the distance.

4. Power up the Machine: The Catapult runs on 4 D batteries (not included) or with the provided AC adapter. If using the AC adapter, connect it to the side of the Catapult base below the power switch. If using batteries, flip the Catapult over, press down on the black tab, and slide the battery cover off. Install the batteries as shown. Turn the product on to power it up and off to power it down. Ensure that all persons and pets are clear of the Catapult and the path of the ball before powering on.
